On the East side of town, the Urbanna Fire Department runs a shuttle from the field parking to the local gas station. There is a suggested donation of $2.00 per ride which benefits the Middlesex Volunteer Fire Dept.
On Friday, main roads through town will close depending on crowd size. Traffic will be diverted to side streets until 6:30 pm when all traffic into and out of town will be stopped in preparation for the Fireman’s Parade. On Saturday traffic will be stopped from entering and exiting town between 8am and 8pm.
We politely ask that you leave your furry friends at home. With large crowd sizes expected, we find it’s best to keep foot traffic to humans. The Urbanna Oyster Festival holds no liability for any incidents involving pets.
